do you ever have one of those days where it feels like the world is out to get you and nothing is going your way no matter how hard you try?

I had a magazine project due yesterday. When my file was printed a small part of it did not translate over to Kinkos and came back as dots.
I turned it in and asked my teacher if i could reprint it. He said yes and it would be without penalty.
So I fixed what was wrong and sent to Kinkos last night.
Picked it up this morning and saw it was missing two pages. Oh wait, no some dumbass decided to print it double sided even though i did not specify it.
So I asked them to reprint.
Some bitchy woman who worked there said that I had to sign a copyright release form. Why? Because an old absolut ad was used (which our teacher said was ok, he said to just find ads on the comp and use them). I've printed it no less than six times without problems. The man who had helped me when I got there said that she didn't need to do that because it was a school project and not for commercial use and that he'd talk to her after just because he didn't want to have the fight with her in front of me.
So I got home ready to cut it and put it together.
They reprinted my old messed up file.

So I'm back to square one. Gave up. Emailed my teacher, explained the situation and said I'd just keep what I had given him yesterday as my final project.

I have since torn up all the copies of it that I couldn't use. Held back tears and still am.

The day just has to get better doesn't it?



I can only go up from here. I hope.



Moral of the story:  I'm DONE with Kinkos. I'm ready for my printer for christmas.
